Tommy Minetti works as Managing Partner of Betteravia Farms in Santa Maria, CA. Tommy was born and raised in the Santa Maria/Guadalupe area and is a 4th generation farmer. He got his start in agriculture working on a cattle ranch and came to Betteravia Farms as a college intern.
Tommy has a degree in Ag Business Management with a Farm and Ranch Management concentration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. In addition to his role at Betteravia Farms, Tommy serves on the board for Grower-Shipper Association of Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties, Central Coast Groundwater Coalition, and the Righetti High School Ag Advisory Committee. Tommy is also Past Director of the Santa Barbara County Cattlemen’s Association.
Away from the farm, Tommy enjoys hunting, fishing, helping kids with their fair projects, and wrangling cattle, in addition to spending time with his wife of 25 years, Sara, and their 4 children.
